Emily
Emily Moriarty (she/her) is the Director of Clinical Services at Reset Outdoors, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania, in practice since 2016. She earned a master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University.
Emily intentionally tailors her approach to each client’s specific needs, utilizing a number of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. She believes each individual already possesses exactly what they need to achieve healing, therefore she works hard to support her clients in their efforts to uncover their own power, resilience, and sense of peace.
While she works with people from all different backgrounds, she specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ population, particularly related to issues of gender and sexuality. Supporting people through social and/or medical transition is a part of her career that she is especially passionate about.
Spending time outdoors is something Emily finds thoroughly restorative. When she doesn’t get the chance to be outside for extended periods of time, noticing the sounds of wildlife around her, particularly bird songs, brings her great joy. While she offers sessions in a traditional office setting, she also loves the opportunity to get her clients out of the office and into the great outdoors.
Jason
Jason Morgan (he/him) is the Director of Strategic Growth at Reset Outdoors. An entrepreneur for over 20 years, Jason builds and coaches both small businesses and international brands. Jason is motivated to help people develop themselves and share their passions with the world to make a lasting positive impact.
As the director of strategic growth for Reset Outdoors, Jason amplifies the organization’s mission to reconnect people with the natural world, and each other, to live a healthy, balanced life.
In his spare time Jason enjoys building and making, wandering the Wissahickon, getting his hands in the soil in their family vegetable garden, cooking a new recipe, and finding a creative solution to an everyday challenge.
Jonathan
Jonathan Lepore (he/him) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania and has been in practice since 2012. He graduated with his Master’s degree in Social Service from Bryn Mawr College’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. Jonathan has also earned post graduate certifications in adventure education, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), clinical supervision, and nonprofit leadership.
Jonathan has experience working with youth, adults, and families from all backgrounds who have endured traumas, as well as those who have experienced other disruptions while working towards their goals and aspirations. His clinical approach is person centered and he believes supporting an individual’s development in multiple domains of life leads to better outcomes. Jonathan utilizes evidence based practices such as CBT/DBT along with more nuanced techniques that work to benefit each client where they are. He believes through a measured holistic approach to emotional, physical, and spiritual well being we can all continue to learn and grow.
The outdoors have been a source of great wonderment for Jonathan. He has a passion for adventure, orienteering, and exploring new spaces. Especially on two wheels. He enjoys developing and sharing outdoor skills with others to better connect ourselves with nature and develop a sense of safety and competence so we can all be “good in the woods.”
